I'm leaning towards getting the internals of my geo2 polished by pooty... any thoughts, pros/cons, possible local people I can deal with?

If you dont do it right, you just f'd up your gun. Most current guns will not gain much advantage by this process.

The only thing I saw on the video for the geo2 is that he could drop the dwell down to about 9 and the gun still cycled.

Yeah, but when you are polishing the internals of a spoolie like that, you can easily break tolerance. It is in all honesty a risky move that I have taken several times. When it works it is awesome, and when it doesnt you have to buy another bolt. It is my opinion now that the best thing you can do for a spoolie is shoot it and shoot it and shoot it,,, The one thing that I ever did that really affected performance is find and match the exact right size hardness and sizes of o rings, and that is a very time consuming process that requires a lot of time because once it is at its most awesomeness, the o rings are about worn out.

Todays guns are only operating at about 25% of their capability in tournament play,,,, I just do not think that there is any real advantage to all the tinkering if you are using one of them which is why I like owning older technology....
